The proprietary BioPetrol technology is a continuous thermo-chemical conversion of raw or anaerobically digested municipal sewage sludge to produce fuel oil and char products suitable for use as a boiler fuel. The main distinguishing feature of the BioPetrol process, when compared to incineration, or direct drying, is that it chemically converts sludge organics into fuel oil.
